  • Bottle banks alone will not meet future targets from glass recycling.
  • Kerbside schemes currently in operation indicate increased recycling takes place because of increased convenience.
  • Kerbside collection can be cost effective if participation rates are high and glass, paper and metals are collected at the same time.

    • Berryman will work with Local Authorities to establish or develop all aspects of kerbside collection, from boxes and vehicles to markets for all materials.
